Kohler Energy is now Rehlko

I joined Kohler Energy right before its separation from Kohler, directly influencing executive decisions for our new identity. As the designer for the enterprise marketing team, I spearheaded the brand rollout of Rehlko during its launch as a stand-alone company, driving visual strategy and consistency across all channels.

Led Global Color Transition

“Marissa, can you Photoshop this with a new color?” quickly snowballed into a design choice that impacted our entire product catalogue.

To ensure a smooth transition from "Kohler Creme Beige" to our new gray, I personally vetted the color across European RAL, Pantone, and Sherwin-Williams industrial paint systems. Collaborating with engineering I established logo placement and sizing guidance across hundreds of products and components, balancing design consistency with ease of application on the production floor.

Leaving room for every group to make their own meaningful content, this logo system was designed to be streamlined but versatile. Using our branded triangles to unify the groups, and a dash of color from our rarely-seen extended palette to give each unique character.
